Dis the season for more Christmas crafting!!! I finally managed to get my “Day’s till Christmas” Chalkboard charger plates down. I kept one for myself, gave a couple as gifts and even sold a few!!! Wish making money was always this much fun!!
I love Apothecary Jars!!! Sometimes ,if you are lucky, you may come across one on sale! For some reason, these lovely jars can be pricey. I knew I could make these myself…so here goes!
I had this ugly, non useful spot just off my kitchen. I had put in some plastic shelves and hung a curtain, but it just didn’t look the way I wanted it to…

Here are more great ideas, bought and homemade!!!!!
This is a great idea for small children! Put a laundry basket in a tub field with water. It will keep your child safely confined and their toys stay within reach….
Outback is one of our favorite restaurants. My husband loves their Alice Springs Chicken, so after some searching and combing we put together a pretty good copy!!! It turned out really good!
Remove bathroom soap scum
Scrape scum with a plastic putty knife
Soap has a nasty way of forming a hard-to-remove film on tile in tubs and showers. You won’t get rid of it by rubbing. Instead, wait for the surface to dry, then scrape off the scum with a 4-in. plastic putty knife.
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser
For grout lines and textured surfaces, use a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. To prevent soap scum buildup, stop using real soap and start using a synthetic. Chemically speaking, any soap in a liquid or gel form, and some bar soaps (Zest and Ivory), are actually synthetic soaps and much less likely to leave a tough film in your sink, shower or tub.
Always looking for cool ideas, here are some of my latest finds… As usual I do try to put where I acquired these wonderful ideas from if possible…enjoy!
This is so cool! A hidden magnetic cutting board from familyhandyman.com
This is a great way to find a Just Right Avocado!!!
Simply remove the stem, if the area under the stem is to dark, it’s to ripe. But if it is a nice light Yellow Green color it is PERFECT!!! I love Avocado’s so this was so awesome to find….
I love Avocado on Burgers, sandwiches and even as a side! They give any meal a little creaminess!!!
Thanks to nwedible.com for this find!!!
Till next time!!
